Lower Gwynedd Township recently announced that it is seeking season workers for its Public Works Department.
Seasonal Workers are expected to perform maintenance and manual labor activities throughout the township.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, grass cutting, weed whacking and any other such duties as the job may require.
In order to apply, applicants must have a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License. Grass cutting experience is preferred, but not required.
The schedule for season workers runs from May until October, but is flexible. Working hours are generally Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
These positions offer an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in municipal services while contributing to the well-being of the community.
According to the township, starting pay $21 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Lower Gwynedd Township's Public Works Department, located at 1130 North Bethlehem Pike, Spring House, is responsible for the maintenance of roads, sewer lines and park facilities in the Township. The hours of the department are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
