Three injured after ambulance crashes in Upper Dublin, according to report

Three people were injured and transported to a nearby hospital after an ambulance and a black sedan collided early Wednesday morning in Upper Dublin Township, according to local officials.
The crash occurred just before 5 a.m. at the intersection of Susquehanna Road and Fitzwatertown Road. Officials have closed Susquehanna Road in both directions at Fitzwatertown Road.
Officials said all three individuals suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and each was reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.
Aerial footage from NBC10 Philadelphia showed the ambulance, appearing to be from Second Alarmers Rescue Squad, resting on a grassy area beside the roadway near a heavily damaged black vehicle with its roof torn off.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved and have not said whether the injured individuals included ambulance personnel, a patient, or occupants of the other vehicle.
Investigators also have not determined what caused the crash or whether the ambulance was responding to an emergency call at the time.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
